Altamisa de la Sierra, also know as Mountain Mugwort Artemisia franserioides , is a wonderful but little known herb. It can be used in a bitter tea or used in a bath charm for cleansing or divination. It can also be burned in ceremony or simmer pot. Mugwort has a long history of use with divination practices. Each precious plant is clipped carefully so as not to disturb the roots. Sustainably harvested with prayer in Northern New Mexico by Taos Herb Company.
