Our small medicine bag is made of soft buckskin by a Taos artist, it can carry herbs such as white sage or mugwort, stones, Zuni fetishes, crystals, or a small, 1/3 oz. essential oil bottle.

The medicine bag is known in all cultures for centuries. They contain personal items such as sweetgrass, sage, cedar, lavender or pinion, and other objects which have meaning or are spiritually significant.

Other items you might like in your own medicine bag are things you may have found that have special significance to your life: stones, fossils, juniper berries, feathers, or shells.

Guidance, healing and protection are reasons to carry a medicine bag. The Shaman often carries a medicine bag that has items in it for healing oneself and others. Your medicine bag should be holy and personal to you and not opened by anyone else. It serves as a connection to your spiritual and healing nature.
