Plants were the first medicine used by human beings and remain effective tools in caring for one’s own health but FDA regulations don’t allow any specific claims about how herbs may help you. So, educate yourself! Learn about what herbs do, buy books, take classes, go to the library or search educational (not commercial) web sites. The proper use of herbal medicine is achieved though being educated and including your health care provider in your decisions to care for yourself.
