Security

Your protection is very important to us. The Taos Herb Company's site is a Secure Site. All orders are encrypted for your safety by GeoTrust®, a worldwide leader in internet security providing Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology used to scramble and encode all communication between your browser and the Taos Herb Company web server. The security and validity of your credit card transactions is protected. All orders are encrypted to guarantee that the information can be read by us only. It will appear as indecipherable gibberish if the data is intercepted by an unauthorized source. Your credit card number is encrypted prior to transmission over the internet. You may also order online using PayPal or the secure server.

Credit Card Processing

We destroy all credit card data when the order is charged. We have gone to great lengths to protect our customers credit card information and personal information and we are Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant.

Shipping

Shipping costs are determined by your choice of USPS Priority Mail or Federal Express Home Delivery.

USPS Priority Mail orders placed after 4 p.m. Mountain Time will be filled the next business day.

Federal Express orders placed after 9:30 a.m. Mountain Time will be filled the next business day.

Sorry, Saturday delivery is not available. If you would like faster shipping options, please call us during business hours.

Shipments to Alaska and Hawaii: The shipping cost on the shopping cart is only an estimate. We will email a final invoice to you with updated shipping charges for you to review and approve before we charge your credit card.

We are required to collect 7.50% sales tax on orders from or delivered within the state of New Mexico. Only orders within the state of New Mexico are charged sales tax.

To inquire about an order, please click here to eMail us and provide the following information: Your full name. The date you placed the order. The order number from your email receipt. Your email and phone information.

Returns

If your order arrives damaged, please notify us and the carrier immediately. Please do not discard any items or packaging. If we made an error in your order, please notify us within 10 days of receipt, and we will make the necessary adjustments. Returns not due to damage or our error may be subject to a 20% handling fee that will be deducted from any credit or refund. Please call us during business hours at 1-800-353-1991 Ext 206 to obtain authorization for returns.

International Orders:

Taos Herb Company ships only to the USA and territories, Canada, and Great Britain.

Orders will be priced and charged in U.S. dollars. Due to fluctuating international currency rates and postal customs, the shipping rates on the shopping cart form will not apply to your order. There is a $20 (U.S.) service fee on international orders.

But herbs and herbal medicine are the source of most modern drugs. So, if you (as we are) disappointed in the lack of information that is permitted to be said about these products, please go to the library or search the web (be careful though, there is a lot of inaccurate information out there) and you will discover that plants were the first medicine used by human beings and they are as potent and effective now as they were before they were bad-rapped as old wives tales (those old wives were pretty smart), hippy, Indian (American or East Indian) or other degrading judgments of other culture's beliefs about healing.
