I ordered the Desert Sage, stored it with the rest of my smudging supplies, and forgot about it. About a year later, I found it and decided to try it. The sage itself has a light, fresh scent. Anyone who has spent time in the high desert will recognize the scent immediately. When it is burned, the scent is much less pungent than white sage. You have to blow on it slightly before it stays lit. Once you have a good ember, it burns slowly for a long time. Desert sage has become my new favorite for smudging. I just ordered some more.
